Online Web Publishing FAQs (continues..)
Q: What is the minimum size of an EBook you accept?
A: Size as well has little to do with it, as long as we feel there is sufficient inherent value to the product that it is worth the money we are asking for it. Typically though, EBooks under 50 Pages (Standard PDF Layout) are usually referred to as “White Papers” or even just “Documents” because people generally don’t think they have enough ‘meat’ to them to be called a “book.”
Q: Does my book have to be in PDF format?
A: We will only sell PDF documents, as the buying public has accepted them as a standard. We will accept your work in the format of a MS-Word document and convert it for you for free, however.
Q: Are there any other hidden fees at all?
A: Nope, none. The only form of payment we ever ask for is our percentage of sales, period.
Q: Do I have to sell exclusively with you?
A: Absolutely not. You’re free to have it published with someone else, simultaneously as long as they don’t require exclusivity either. Our only requirement is that once you sell it with us, we will not pull the website down later. Therefore, do not sign up if you think you’re going to sign exclusively with another company at a later date.
